When HSBC was opening a new branch in Pasadena, they wanted to make a splash. They came to us to put together an “announcement” that would spread the message in a big way.
Since the branch was launching at the same time as the Tournament of Roses in Pasadena, what better way to bring attention to HSBC than to leverage the Tournament? We hired 12 cyclists dressed in HSBC gear to distribute grand opening flyers and initiations at the Tournament of Roses. We placed bus terminal and newspaper advertisements, had a wrapped truck, and parties with special invitations to key figures — all in line with the theme of roses.
